Welcome to our Website!

Javier and I will be getting married on June 18th, 2005 in Cuenca, Ecuador. We hope that you will be able to spend this weekend with us for the wedding and other festivities. I understand that Ecuador is a long distance to travel for a wedding, so I've made this site in order to make your travel plans easier.

Many people have asked me what Ecuadorian weddings are like. Basically, they are very similar to weddings in the United States. People wear fairly formal attire (women in dresses and men in suits). However, we will try to include wedding traditions from each culture. We will also be hiring a salsa band for the wedding, so get your dancing shoes ready.
